November 15th, 2008 - Doyle Dykes Taylor Clinic

Doyle Dykes recently played to a packed house as part of a Taylor Clinic at G Guitars. His incredible musicianship and inspirational songs were well received by everyone in attendance. We look forward to having Doyle back again in the future!

August 22nd, 2008 - Taylor University and Factory Tour

GGuitars recently had an opportunity to check out the Taylor Guitar factory in El Cajon, California. It was a great experience spending time with Bob Taylor and the rest of the crew at the factory. We received a first hand look at how Taylor makes their incredible guitars, the history and philosphy behind the company and a glimpse of new products around the corner.

While at the factory we hand picked some stunning woods with Bob for the Taylor Build To Order Program. Keep your eyes peeled over the next few months as we build out the wood into incredible new guitars.

We couldn't have asked for a better trip and are proud to have Taylor guitars here in our showroom.

July 18th, 2008 - G&L Factory Tour

G&L and Chris Ross & Associates were kind enough to invite GGuitars out to the G&L 2008 Customer Shingdig and Factory Tour. We were given an up close and detailed look at how G&L's are produced, from raw wood, to paint and assembly in G&L's factory in Fullerton, California. There is a lot of history here being the place where Leo Fender lived out his days, producing innovative new pickups and guitar designs.

We have taken a gallery of photos to document the production from start to finish, including some great shots of Leo's office as it was the day he passed away. Below are a few sample shots.

April 30th, 2008 - Taylor Road Show

Check out a few photos from the Taylor Road Show hosted at G Guitars. We had a great turn out and really appreciate Taylor bringing down so many wonderful guitars and taking the time to explain their various models. It was an informative night and we thank everyone for coming down.

G Guitars has just aquired a new 2008 Smart ForTwo to use as a 'rolling advertisement'. Its a great fun car and gives us a unique way to get the G Guitars logo and name out on the street.

2008 NAMM Show

G Guitars will be attending the 2008 NAMM Show in Anaheim California this week. We'll be taking photos out on the floor of all the latest and greatest new products and will post up what we can from the show.

NAMM Day 1

Here is our first batch of photos from NAMM, Day 1 was a lot of fun and we checked out a bunch of exciting new products from G&L, Spector, Taylor, Zemaitis, F-Bass and many others. Please check out our gallery from today and we will be adding more information shortly. We have many other brands to check out tomorrow and will put up a second gallery with new photos!

NAMM Day 2

Our second day at NAMM brings many more new products from Reverend, Subdecay, Modulus, Diamond, Mesa Boogie, Orange, PRS and others. The new PRS Singlecut Jumbo Archtop was just gorgeous and was definitely a highlight of the show. We have 2 of the limited 350 run on order for the store. Other things of note are the new American Standard Stratocaster (sorry no photos), the Diamond Memory Lane 2 and some awesome new finish options from Modulus (check out the orange sparkle!).
